Jeannette Gardner, President
founded GARDNER ARTS NETWORK in 1988, after purchasing PEEL & SMITH MANAGEMENT for the ARTS.

GARDNER ARTS NETWORK represents a wide variety of Dance, Theatre, Music and Family/Young Audiences companies. After earning a Bachelor of Music in Voice from Greensboro College, Jeannette worked as Copywriter, disc jockey and Commercial actress at WBTV in Charlotte, NC before moving to New York City.  She performed Off-Broadway, with symphony orchestras, dinner theatre productions and summer stock throughout the U. S., Canada and Europe. Over the years, she has served on the Membership Committee of the Association for Performing Arts Presenters, conference planning committees for the Northeast Performing Arts Conference and the Performing Arts Exchange and Logistics, Credentials, and Nominating committees for the Western Arts Alliance. She was the co-chair of the 2005 Midwest Arts Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana and has served as Treasurer and President of the North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents and on the Board of Directors of International Performing Arts for Youth. She has taught or assisted with workshop sessions at all Regional Arts Conference in the areas of Dance Touring, Artist/Management/Presenter relationships, Contract Negotiations, Information for Beginning Managements, etc. She taught a Joyce SOHO Seminar entitled “Working with Booking Agents and Managers” and a similar workshop for The Field in New York City.

Jeannette and her husband, Randy – a writer, director/choreographer for Musical Theatre and Television – live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with their Boston Terrier – Heartly.
